underwhelming stay

acceptable locationstrong damp smellunironed bedding
the location was acceptable for exploring the city.
the room smelled heavily of damp, it was quite off-putting. the bedding seemed unironed, and what i thought was a top sheet turned out to be just an empty duvet cover, i noticed stains on it.

There were issues with the shower. Water did not drain properly during my shower. I was standing in water quickly. I noticed the shower still had the previous person's razor. used body wash was left behind, so this was disappointing.

the room was nice! we had a balcony, and it was lovely, the bed proved comfortable for my rest. french pressed coffee was available in the morning.
The room grew very noisy at night. it was close to a bar. The window did not lock and exacerbated the noise. i found stairs challenging.
